About The Position

Oakbrook Corporation is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Property Caretaker to help maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of Wildberry Village Apartments in Rockford. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in keeping spaces clean and welcoming. This is a unique position offering onsite housing for the selected candidate in exchange for 15 hours of work per week. Hours worked beyond 15 hours each week will be paid at a rate of $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in varying conditions
• Reliable and self-motivated

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in property care or maintenance is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, janitorial, and light maintenance duties in common areas and apartments
• Keep property and grounds clean, orderly, and safe
• Handle snow and ice removal, lawn care, trash pickup and removal
• Perform landscaping tasks
• Care for amenities such as ponds, sidewalks, and lighting
• Assist with minor maintenance repairs as needed
• Assist in identifying safety hazards and report needed repairs
• Inspect properties for safety and aesthetics
• Comply with Fair Housing guidelines
• Demonstrate and uphold Oakbrook Values
• Other duties as assigned
