About The Position
The Property and Evidence Technician is responsible for overseeing the collection, storage, and management of property and evidence for the Police Department. This role ensures the integrity of the evidentiary chain of custody and manages all impounded property, including receiving, processing, and disposing of evidence in accordance with legal guidelines. The technician also conducts audits, prepares evidence for lab submission, and assists in training related to property and evidence management.
