About The Position

As a Propane Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transferring, collecting, loading, and delivering propane products to and from various containers including bulk trucks, tanks, and cylinders for our customers. Your role will involve initiating and conducting the asset verification process, collecting customer signatures and payments for deposits when necessary, and providing customers with brochures that include basic price lists and contact information. It is essential to maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times. You will leverage technology to monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels, and container sizing. Accurately recording and printing delivery tickets for customers and completing daily driver reports will be part of your responsibilities. Safety is paramount, and you will maintain equipment to the highest safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager or Dispatcher. Conducting pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections, and visual tank inspections will also be required. Collaboration with the Dispatcher will be crucial for routing and scheduling information. You will need to notify the Dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling, or safety issues immediately to obtain guidance and instruction on how to resolve these situations. Additionally, you will provide propane tank installations in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all state and local codes and safety policies. Identifying and correcting any leaks from the tank to equipment connection and responding to customer emergencies as needed will be part of your duties. Completing tank inspections and repairs at customer locations and performing maintenance on spare tanks in preparation for installation will also be expected. Other job duties may be assigned as necessary.
