About The Position
Propane Northwest has been providing Clean American Energy for over 75 years. We are currently seeking a Propane Service Technician to join our team of enthusiastic, innovative, professional individuals committed to providing a superior customer experience. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $27 to $32 per hour, along with a $1,500 sign-on bonus. The role involves providing service and customer support during field visits, on-site installation of tanks and regulators, and performing routine and emergency out-of-gas safety checks. The technician will also provide safety information to customers, perform general maintenance on equipment and propane lines, and produce timely and detailed service work orders. Cooperation with management and the service team is essential to share information and understand customer requests, making appropriate recommendations. Additionally, the technician will assist customers with pilot lighting on propane appliances and perform routine maintenance at yard/storage locations. The position requires responding to customer emergencies as needed, and the technician must be available for an on-call rotation, willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
