About The Position

As a Propane Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing service and customer support during field visits. This includes the on-site installation of tanks and regulators, performing routine and emergency out-of-gas safety checks, and providing safety information to customers with clear explanations. You will also be tasked with performing general maintenance on equipment and propane lines, producing timely and detailed service work orders, and cooperating with management and the service team to share vital information. Understanding customer requests and making appropriate recommendations is crucial, as is providing pilot lighting assistance on propane appliances. In addition to these responsibilities, you will perform routine maintenance at yard/storage locations, lock and unlock tanks as required for collection purposes, and respond to customer emergencies as needed. This role requires a commitment to safety and customer service, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
