Now Hiring: Propane Driver We are actively seeking experienced Propane Drivers to safely load, transport, and deliver propane throughout the Appalachia region. This is a great opportunity for drivers who take pride in safe hauling, timely deliveries, and exceptional customer service. Flexible schedule Safety bonus Bronze Level Veteran Friendly Employer from Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency Propane Driver Essential Duties: • Attach terminal hoses to the truck connections to pump propane into the tanker • Use permanent hoses attached to the filling ports or the hoses stored in the truck to unload the tanker • Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting goods • Complete all “pre-trip” requirements before each truck run and “post-trip” requirements at the end of each shift • Operates a powered industrial vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws • Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations • Deftly maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals • Assists with loading and unloading of materials, using specialized equipment when warranted • Maintains work orders, invoices, shipping bills, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to appropriate staff • Communicates effectively verbally and in writing at terminals and with Dispatch, Drivers, vendors, and customers • Facilitates routine service on trucks, reports maintenance malfunctions to appropriate parties • Arranges trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns • Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes • Check all load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy WORK A WEEKEND SCHEDULE Propane Driver Compensation Package: • Competitive pay based on experience. • Opportunity for bonus pay (holiday, safety, etc) • Employee- owned company - Employee Stock Option program. • Paid time off after 90 days. • Healthcare Insurance (Medical, HSA, Vision, Dental) • Short-term & long-term disability. • Company provided life insurance (buy-up option also available) • Legal Shield & ID Theft Protection.

Requirements

Licensed CDL Class A license with clean MVR
X endorsement
Flexible schedule with weekend availability
6 months to 1 year of verifiable Class A semi-truck driving experience
CDL drivers with a strong safety record
Commitment to professional, courteous customer service
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen
Must be able to pass a DOT physical

Nice To Haves

Experience with hazardous materials preferred
6 months to 1 year of experience in bulk propane/butane tanking strongly preferred
1-2 years of tanker/propane driving experience +FAST PASS
