About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication, or a related field.
• Previous proofreading experience preferred.
• Strong grasp of the English language and syntax.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently within strict deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Proofreading correspondence letters and correcting grammatical, punctuation, formatting, and spelling errors.
• Checking letters for inconsistencies and adherence to style guides.
• Verifying editable information populated accurately in tables and fields.
• Identifying common errors or trends and providing feedback to improve overall quality.
• Sorting, counting, and proofreading printed outgoing letters for quality.
• Tracking and reporting quality data/statistics into spreadsheets and/or reports.
• Organizing and communicating quality results with other departments involved in the quality assurance process.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
