About The Position

As a Proofer at Audigy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of various types of content. Your experience in editing and proofreading is essential, as you will collaborate closely with designers, writers, marketing managers, web specialists, and account coordinators. This position is set in a fast-paced environment that thrives on teamwork and creative problem-solving. You will be responsible for proofing documents related to web content, email marketing, news releases, newsletters, business collateral, ad copy, brochures, and more. Your attention to detail and passion for clear language will be key to supporting our clients' businesses effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience in editing and proofreading.
  • Extreme attention to detail and understanding of how copy and design can coexist.
  • Knowledge of AP Style.
  • Experience with WordPress.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge (preferred).
  • Ability to handle strict deadlines and a large volume of work while maintaining accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using project/task management software (i.e., Basecamp, Workamajig, ClickUp, Salesforce).
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, writing, or journalism (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2-4 years proofreading and editing in a professional capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Proofing documents/content related to web content, email marketing, news releases, newsletter articles, business collateral, ad copy, brochures, marketing/sales letters, and broadcast scripts.
  • Updating client directories information.
  • Reviewing the web team cases queue and self-assigning cases as they fit skill set.
  • Collaborating with multiple team members, effectively receiving and providing feedback.
  • Collecting monthly performance reporting data as needed.
  • Performing other related duties as needed.
