Our Pronto Delivery Drivers make $27.21/ hour! Schedule is generally Wednesday - Saturday, 4 day work week as early as 3:00am -5:00am start time. subject to change based on business needs. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $25.50 per hour and $28.50 per hour. Requirements

  • Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license Class B issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required.
  • No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years.
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical.
  • No commercial or professional driving experience required.
  • Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.
  • Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Must pass pre-employment testing (including items such a Background Check)
  • Have knowledge of area and/or map reading abilities.
  • Use safe lifting and loading techniques
  • Great interpersonal/customer service skills.
  • Availability to work on weekends, Holidays and overtime in order to service customers
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required

Nice To Haves

  • One year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred or six months local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
  • Hand cart delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
  • Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
