About The Position

The Promotions/Special Events Coordinator will assist in the planning, preparation, communication, set-up and close-out, and onsite execution of Special Events and Promotions

Requirements

  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs
  • Basic computer skills are required

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plans and coordinates daily special events and promotions.
  • Coordinates the disseminate of prizes, gifts and or tickets related to special events and promotions.
  • Coordinates advisories for all special events and promotions
  • Creates and distributes special events and promotional daily reports and customer feedback
  • Follows all departmental policies and procedures.
  • Addresses and resolves all customer services issues and presents to management
  • Builds a strong special event and loyalty team that delivers high guest satisfaction, excitement and fun
  • Maintain confidentially of all Ocean Casino Resort Atlantic City trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information
  • Comply with all New Jersey regulatory requirements, Departmental and Company Policies including Ocean Casino Resort Atlantic City’s business ethics guidelines
  • This position issues comps but does not comp to the level which requires a casino key employee license in accordance with NJ CASINO CONTROL ACT & COMMISSION REGULATIONS
  • Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs
  • Basic computer skills are required
