About The Position

The Promotions Producer for Creative Services at FOX13 is an opportunity to explore all aspects of television marketing. This position offers candidates the opportunity to be a part of an Emmy & Telly award winning team of creative writers, producers, editors and graphic artists while expanding their creative abilities and growing their talents.

We are looking for a creative individual who is an experienced shooter and editor with proficiency in lighting for commercial production. You will be responsible for working with a team to create on-air, digital and social media commercial marketing for the FOX13 News brand and it’s retail clients. Possible duties include daily topicals, targeted special news stories, station image, social marketing, brand promotions and retail client commercial production.

Applicants must have experience with non-liner editing, Adobe Premier is preferred. Knowledge of Adobe After Effects is highly encouraged. Applicant shooting experience on a variety of camera formats from DSLR to Canon EOS Cinema Series preferred.

applicant needs to be proficient on both the Mac and PC platform along with having college degree.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Mass Media Production, Film, Marketing or Journalism
• Ability to collaborate with others in a creative environment.
• Handle multiple deadlines at one time.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate and thrive in a competitive teamwork-driven creative department.
• Knowledge of Mac and Windows platforms.
• Adobe Premier and After Effects experience
• Experience lighting for promotional/commercial shoot
• Can use adobe after effect to stylize promotions with graphics and animations that support a news brand.
• Sound design for commercial and news edits

Responsibilities

• Write compelling topical news promos for television and social media which engage users and motivate viewers to watch.
• Write and Produce Targeted Special Report Promos (TSRs), Proof of Brand (POBs) and Image campaigns.
• Meet with clients about their brand and participate in retail production shoots.
• Hands-on non-linear video editor, preferably Adobe Premiere and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Applied knowledge of social media and digital platforms.
• Create compelling promotion spots, customized for each platform
• Work closely and collaborate with news producers, on-air talent, reporters, photographers in the field, and other Creative Services Writer/Producer/Editors.
• Work with team to plan, organize, location scout and execute promotional shoots for image, series, special project promotion and commercial retail.
• Maintain organization and upkeep of CS equipment.
