Requirements

  • Outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
  • Enjoy hosting others
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Five years in progressively more challenging roles in marketing, two of which must be within the casino industry and one with responsibility for event planning
  • Two years' experience managing teams or business units
  • Familiarity with player tracking software required
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to understand and analyze Budget and P&L Statements
  • Proven managerial and critical thinking skills required
  • Compliance with all regulatory, governmental, and safety requirements
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment

Responsibilities

  • Fostering a fun environment
  • Being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
  • Promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in events
  • Collaborating with VP of Marketing on development and execution of advertising, promotions, public relations, social media and marketing plans
  • Managing creation and production of all advertising campaigns, direct mail creative, marketing calendars, promotional activity and any collateral needs for property
  • Developing media plan with VP of Marketing and agency based on marketing objectives
  • Leveraging advertising dollars to maximize added value, seeking out co-op marketing opportunities to supplement media plan
  • Vendor coordination, management and negotiation
  • Coordinating work of PR firms and managing implementation of certain PR and community events; drafting press releases in tandem with PR firms
  • Working closely with Planning & Analysis to understand the overall profitability of promotional activities
  • Managing social media strategy, including channels, contests and updates, measures and reports on performance
  • Managing property website design and updates, measures and reports on performance
  • Implementing and enforcing brand and quality standards throughout the organization for visual communication
  • Coordinating with internal parties to ensure advertising messages are reflected throughout the property on digital screens
  • Supervising a Graphic Artist, Communications Specialist, Digital Designer, and Advertising Coordinator
  • Management accountability for all team members for day to day and long-term operations to include hiring, training and developing employees
  • Maintaining compliance with policies and procedures
  • Budgetary management across expenses and capital requests
