About The Position

CUMULUS MEDIA in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Part-Time Promotions Assistant to support promotional activities for its five radio stations. This role involves both office duties and community engagement, acting as a Brand Ambassador at various events. The ideal candidate should have an outgoing personality, a passion for radio, and the ability to lift 50 pounds while being on their feet for extended periods.

Requirements

• No experience necessary, however, customer service experience is helpful.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Reliable with a flexible schedule, available to work at least 20 hours per week, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Outgoing, energetic, detail-oriented, and responsible.
• Proficient using computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Multi-tasking abilities are essential.
• Event experience is a plus.
• Works well with a variety of personalities.
• Passion and desire to perform at a high level in a competitive environment.
• Positive attitude, even in stressful situations, is a must.
• Desire and bravado to share innovative ideas with the team.
• Ability to ask for clarification when needed.
• Strong social media skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and executing promotional events and digital campaigns.
• Execute proper technical and physical set-up and breakdown of remote broadcasts and station events; troubleshoot and resolve issues on the fly.
• Represent stations at events in an upbeat, outgoing, and friendly manner.
• Perform data entry of promotional events and contesting.
• Create e-blasts, social media posts, and website posts; review promotional information and graphics.
• Manage inventory and maintenance of the prize closet, calendars, and events for current and upcoming promotions.
• Assist the Promotions and Marketing Department with projects as needed in the office.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, fuel, and coordinate maintenance.
• Drive station vehicles with attached trailers.
• Maintain and store station equipment.
