About The Position

The mission of the Customer Experience Team is to ensure a contextually engaging user experience and drive increased conversion rates, cross-product adoption, and maximize lifetime value across the full lifecycle of our products. The Promotional Email Associate Manager will play a key role in achieving this mission through evolving and leveling up our always-on demand generation strategy for the Perpay Marketplace, in turn unlocking substantially higher demand and revenue across our quickly growing user base. This is an exciting opportunity as you will be able to lead the next evolution of our demand generation initiatives and have a measurable impact on growing Perpay's revenue and customer base. You will work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Finance, Product, Design, and Data / Analytics teams to bring tactics like content personalization, audience refinement, channel / send time optimization, and continuous experimentation to life, leading to increased promotional communications engagement and demand.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce email marketing or lifecycle marketing
  • Proven track record driving measurable performance through testing and personalization
  • Proficiency in ESP platforms (Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in visual design platforms (Figma, Canva, PhotoShop, or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of CDP platforms (Segment, 1p data modeling)
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and conversion-focused messaging across channels
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with understanding of revenue forecasting
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight

Nice To Haves

  • Experience aligning with Finance or Revenue Operations teams on forecasting
  • SQL or BI tool proficiency for deeper performance insights
  • Proficiency in crating and troubleshooting custom email templates using HTML and CSS
  • Experience using AI tools to generate copy, images, proposals, and streamline processes
  • Experience leading strategic testing frameworks in high-volume Push / SMS programs

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and execution of Perpay's email, SMS, and Push demand generation program.
  • Design and implement A/B and multivariate tests to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate directly with Finance on demand forecasting and calendar alignment.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising on developing year-round use cases aligned to key ecommerce purchasing events, and align on promotional calendar.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and CX to enhance personalization and automation.
  • Define success metrics, analyze performance, and communicate actionable insights.
  • Evolve existing tools and processes for greater operational efficiency and measurement accuracy.
