JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Display Developer will be responsible for managing a diverse set of projects with a focus on display innovation, quality, cost savings and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Purchasing or Engineering from accredited university or college in Packaging and/or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of display development experience with a consumer products organization
  • Ability to lead creative exploration and provide technical advice to both internal and external associates
  • Capable of making sound technical decisions on a wide range of issues regarding both display and packaging operations
  • Knowledge of SAP, CAPE, TOPS, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • All applicants must be able to work in our Tarrytown office Tues/Wed/Thurs (remote on Mon/Fri).

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new point of purchase displays for product launches with emphasis on Innovation, quality standards and cost effectiveness.
  • Facilitate and coordinate project activities to minimize project timelines.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams that include Marketing, Regulatory, Quality and Supply Chain.
  • Responsible for creating preliminary product cost estimates and Bill of Materials.
  • Create and issue components and finished goods specifications.
  • Participate in artwork review and approvals.
  • Initiate and support ongoing display sourcing and Cost of Goods reduction projects.
  • Foster close cooperative relationships with external suppliers and manufacturers
  • Support quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems or maximize product reliability.
  • Follow internal policies with particular emphasis on compliance with the company’s Quality System and external regulatory standards including ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
