About The Position

ION in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Scheduling and Workflow Optimization Consultant who will assess, optimize, and recommend improvements to our current scheduling, promo planning, and workflow systems. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by identifying efficiencies, streamlining operations, and advising on automation opportunities that will enhance our organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

• BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred
• Generally, 8+ years of experience in related field preferred
• Highly organized and flexible with the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
• Skilled at recognizing and implementing process improvements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as ability to lead internal presentations
• Ability to cultivate relationships with employees across departments and functional areas

Responsibilities

• Analyze the current WideOrbit scheduling environment and its related processes.
• Uncover short-term operational efficiencies that can benefit staff immediately.
• Evaluate opportunities to streamline and automate workflows across scheduling and promo operations.
• Identify reporting capabilities within current systems and recommend enhancements.
• Assess potential promo scheduling solution options and their fit within Scripps Networks' ecosystem.
• Facilitate discovery, fact-finding, and alignment meetings with internal stakeholders and external system partners.
• Provide recommendations for staffing structure adjustments based on process efficiencies and automation potential.
