About The Position
Join our network of independent alteration professionals specializing in prom and special event dresses. This role involves altering various formal dresses such as prom, homecoming, pageant, and quinceañera gowns, including tasks like hemming, bodice/waist adjustments, straps, cups, and zippers. You will work with structured formal dresses that may feature multiple layers, sequins, beading, linings, and tulle. Key responsibilities include conducting fittings, taking precise measurements, clearly communicating timelines, delivering high-quality finishing, and maintaining an organized workspace suitable for fittings. The platform also receives requests for wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, evening gowns, suits, and other formalwear.
Requirements
- Experience with formalwear and/or special event dress alterations
- Strong garment construction knowledge + precision measuring
- Machine + hand sewing proficiency
- Professional communication and customer service
Responsibilities
