About The Position

The Projects Manager for Construction is responsible for overseeing Maintenance & Improvement projects, as well as design and capital construction projects funded by the federal government. This role involves managing subcontracted services or performing tasks in-house, ensuring compliance with building codes and hospital standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture preferred; ten years of relevant construction experience may substitute for the degree.
• Five years of professional experience in project management required.
• Knowledge of construction contracting and understanding of building codes and hospital standards for construction is required.
• Ability to negotiate project contract completion and changes within legal and contractual bounds.
• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is desired.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) is required.
• AutoCAD experience is desired.
