  • Participate in a cross-functional team environment in the development and oversight of construction-related project control tasks.
  • Provide cost control and Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling support while managing a staff of Schedulers, Cost Controls, Change Controls, and Document Controls.
  • Implement project planning processes to include considerations of project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, and closeout.
  • Develop and track the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), integration of account cost codes, and earned value metrics.
  • Ensure the project schedule reflects the entire project scope and that tasks are linked in a logical relationship and sequence.
  • Work with cross-functional team members to ensure the project is on time and on budget while in compliance with change control processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project controls process, procedures, systems, and tools to support project execution.
  • Review and analyze project monthly cost reports and offer guidance and explanations for the related variances.
  • Interpret monthly cost analysis to forecast projects on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Ensure project controls procedures are implemented, adhered to, and result in no audit exceptions when audited both internally/externally, or by clients.
  • Provide leadership ability to guide, mentor, and motivate the career development of others while providing accurate and consistent project controls advice to the Area Director, General Manager, and staff.
  • Have an understanding of Federal, State, local, and Company safety policies and assist in the continued development of a Safety Culture in the workplace.
  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Have 2 or more years of experience in the Telecom field.
  • Able to understand drawings, permits, and specifications relevant to the industry.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Windows and MS Office, with high levels of knowledge in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
