About The Position

The Project Director for Clinical Research at MD Anderson Cancer Center is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of multi-site clinical studies from conception to closure. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Five years of experience in a healthcare setting with experience in budget and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of clinical trial start-up and management including project planning and collaborations with multidisciplinary teams.
• Serve as primary liaison for study sites, sponsors, and internal departments.
• Establish and track start-up timelines and performance metrics, notifying stakeholders of any delays.
• Coordinate and align the needs of multiple stakeholders to drive studies through local approval procedures.
• Track items related to CDAs, budget, and contract completion status.
• Schedule, coordinate, and participate in internal feasibility meetings, site initiation visits, and project meetings.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of study sites with standard operating procedures, FDA/GCP regulations, and ICH guidelines.
• Oversee data collection and documentation activities, manage compliance documents, and prepare reports.
