Job Summary Summary: Responsible for providing support services and assistance in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness by ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for the guests, patients, or occupants.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Familiarity with different cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of the assigned areas.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Customer service skills to ensure guest/patient satisfaction.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.
- Trustworthiness and a strong work ethic to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Nice To Haves
- Customer Service Experience 1-2 years preferred, or Housekeeping Experience 0-1 year preferred
Responsibilities
- Performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Handling and maintaining linen supplies, including changing bed linens, replenishing towels and toiletries, and collecting and sorting soiled linens for laundry services.
- Properly disposing of trash, recyclables, and hazardous materials according to established procedures and regulations.
- Monitoring and restocking supplies and amenities such as toiletries, towels, cleaning products, and other necessary items.
- Maintaining accurate records of cleaning activities, including daily cleaning logs, room occupancy status, maintenance requests, and other relevant documentation.
- Following established safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and the proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
