About The Position

The Project Worker is responsible for performing all related tasks necessary to ensure that the assigned building or account is cleaned to the standards of ServiceMaster and the customer task list. This role involves following a specific task list, maintaining equipment and supplies, and ensuring effective communication with supervisors to meet customer expectations.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and task lists.
• Strong communication skills to interact with supervisors and team members.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Follow the task list for your assigned position.
• Keep equipment clean and supplies organized.
• Communicate regularly with your on-site supervisor and/or division manager to ensure that you have the items needed to perform your job and that you are meeting the customer's expectations.
• Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring that wet floor signs are used when mopping floors, spray bottles and other containers are appropriately labeled, and your work area is secured at all times.
• Clean glass.
• Vacuum carpet and floors.
• Dry and damp mop hard surface floor.
• Empty trash, replace liners as needed.
• Dust ledges and other horizontal surfaces.
• Dust all furniture.
• Clean walls for fingerprints, smudges and debris.
• Vacuum carpeted areas if needed.
• High and low dust all surfaces.
• Clean sink, counter and any appliances.
• Clean urinals, toilets, sinks, stall walls and other fixtures.
• Arrange furniture as needed.
• Notify on-site supervisor of irregularities and any maintenance needs.
• Knowledge of scrubbing, re-coating, stripping and waxing floors.
• Knowledge of pressure washing.
• Knowledge in running floor scrubbers, rotos, wet vacuums and extractors.
• Other duties as assigned.
