About The Position

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical engineering skills in the water and wastewater practice area along with strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication abilities. Exceptional technical writing skills are essential, as is experience in preparing and reviewing project drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. Client relationship skills are highly valued and functional experience with MS Office applications is required. The candidate should demonstrate expertise in developing innovative project implementation solutions and have experience in growing and developing teams, including mentoring staff. A strong understanding of local permitting and regulatory pathways for project implementation is also critical for success in this role.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering with focus on stormwater management
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related field of study
• 10 years of relevant water/wastewater experience

Nice To Haves

• Master of Science/Engineering in Civil, Environmental Engineering or a related field of study.
• Experience in design or consulting engineering or Municipal work environment.
• Project leadership experience including managing overall project delivery expectations, prioritizing tasks, and mentoring.
• Client management experience, including preparation and development of proposals and client relationship building.
• Experience/training with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Active participation in regional and/or national professional association(s).
