The primary function of this position is to work with internal project staff and external stakeholders to accomplish grant research goals. The role includes assisting in conference proposals for professional conferences related to TESOL, contributing to research design and implementation, and conducting secondary research and literature reviews. The position requires coordination with departmental and non-departmental staff to achieve grant project outcomes, including recruitment of project participants, collaboration with external grant partners, and the design and implementation of online professional development for Iowa teachers. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with external evaluators, coordinating internal and external financial reporting and documentation, assisting with budget planning, documentation, financial analysis, and quarterly reporting. The position also includes supervising and assisting graduate assistants with grant research and academic writing, as well as mentoring them in conducting field-specific systematic literature reviews.
