Based in Raleigh, NC, this hybrid position offers the flexibility to work onsite a minimum of two days per week, with relocation assistance available. How you'll make an impact Lead engineering activities across the full project lifecycle Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external partners Serve as the primary technical contact for stakeholders Drive innovation and cost-effective solutions in proposals Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contract standards Support commissioning and construction phases Evaluate risks and implement mitigation strategies Develop detailed design documents and technical drawings Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, ANSI/IEEE, and high-voltage substation design
  • Familiarity with Power System technologies (GIS, PASS, etc.)
  • Experience in EPC project environments
  • Proficiency in BIM/Autodesk Construction Cloud and Revit
  • Professional Engineering License or ability to obtain
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
