About The Position

This role requires technical leadership, strong customer service/presentation skills, specialized analytical thinking, and independent judgment to solve problems and provide solutions for physician efficiency using the Epic system. Acts independently with very little direction. It involves strong Epic knowledge to facilitate support for physicians to ensure physician performance and efficiency. Is the team lead and expert in business, clinical and functional areas. Shares knowledge and learning with others but also ensures the staff consistently follow the bootcamp/provider efficiency program guidelines. Will be responsible to be the “go to” expert overall for the team/staff in the SSA department team. Performs system configuration changes and system setup to ensure scope and quality of products. Engaging and working with physician leadership in identifying and designing opportunities for operational improvement, Epic physician efficiency, which can be enabled by improved system configuration. Creates and provides specialized technical bootcamp classes for the SSA staff to ensure all physician support is consistent with physician efficiency and the Epic Signal database scoring. Responsible for performing advanced triage diagnosis of system issues, application troubleshooting, testing, training, and support initiatives of the organization. Project initiatives will be onsite at KSC clinics, business, or IT areas. Other duties as assigned.
