About The Position

This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong technical and leadership skills in software development and project management. The Project / Task Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple software development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and client requirements. You will coordinate distributed teams, drive Agile practices, and ensure quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires close collaboration with clients, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to facilitate communication, mitigate risks, and deliver impactful solutions. This position offers remote flexibility while demanding proactive leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. You will play a key role in enhancing team performance, streamlining processes, and contributing to innovative technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies.
  • 5+ years of leadership or project management experience, including team supervision and task coordination.
  • Strong technical expertise with Spring Framework, Java, Hibernate, Oracle, SQL, React, AWS, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience mentoring team members and fostering collaboration in distributed or remote teams.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP and/or CSM certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with government or federally regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all tasks in assigned projects, ensuring successful and timely completion.
  • Lead geographically distributed development teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and workflow optimization.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to coordinate project activities, facilitate communication, and resolve issues.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and quality assurance standards.
  • Monitor project risks, provide mitigation strategies, and maintain compliance with relevant policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, integrating feedback and lessons learned into future projects.
