Requirements

• 2 or 4 year degree preferably in surveying.
• 0-5 years of related survey experience.
• Valid driver's license and solid driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to become a Professional Licensed Surveyor (PLS) in 5 years.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Civil 3D and/or MicroStation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist a Professional Licensed Surveyor (PLS) in survey work on boundary, transportation, municipal, and civil engineering projects.
• Perform scanning projects utilizing RIEGL terrestrial laser scanners.
• Conduct bathymetric surveys using remote control boats.
• Execute topographic and land surveys using Trimble Robotic Total Stations, R12i GPS, and TSC7 Data Collectors.
• Perform physical tasks such as setting monuments and clearing lines.
• Operate as a one-man crew.
• Understand and utilize Civil 3D to create 3D surface files and plats.
