About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Surveyor - Professional Surveyor and Mapper with 4 years of experience to join our team in the Orlando, FL office. In this position you will act as a Survey Project Manager, in the execution of various public and private sector survey assignments. You will direct teams of technicians and field crews to complete large-scale public and private works improvement projects, while coordinating survey responsibilities with other discipline leads at WGI. Requirements

  • Licensure as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida
  • 4 years of experience
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with Microstation or AutoCAD (Civil3D preferred)
  • Strong communication, writing and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over the sponsorship of employment visas

Responsibilities

  • Supervise field crews and technicians to establish project responsibilities and priorities
  • Coordination with other discipline leads on scheduling objectives and project milestones
  • Assignment of daily responsibilities for survey field crews and office technicians
  • Perform boundary analysis for large-scale corridor, route, or sectionalized land surveys
  • Sign and seal surveys, maps, and survey related documents as the responsible professional in charge of survey and mapping projects
  • Perform in-process quality control of survey field activities, calculations, and preliminary project deliverables
