The Project Support Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of Merrell Bros., Inc. projects by coordinating logistics, managing project documentation, and supporting project managers with administrative and operational tasks. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Business discipline preferred. Equivalent years of professional experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Experience: 4+ years of administrative or project coordination experience in a fast-paced business, industrial, or construction setting preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and comfortable learning new digital tools.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a positive, service-driven attitude in all interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange transportation, permits and logistics for personnel, materials, and equipment in alignment with project schedules and budget requirements.
  • Assist with project-specific paperwork, including project reports and progress documentation.
  • Coordinate and book travel for project team members, demonstrating stewardship and attention to cost efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with travel and transportation vendors — tracking performance through scorecards and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Support Project Managers with various administrative tasks, such as taking meeting minutes, distributing communications, and managing project records.
  • Collaborate with internal departments including operations, accounting, and engineering to ensure seamless project coordination.
  • Maintain organized digital records to promote accountability and data integrity.
  • Demonstrate initiative in anticipating team needs and proactively addressing challenges to keep projects on track.
