About The Position

The position involves managing and coordinating the operational aspects and logistics support for conferences, trade shows, and similar meetings at Raytheon. The role serves as a liaison between the Raytheon Program Manager and U.S. Government Program Manager, focusing on project management, financial analysis, and problem-solving to ensure client satisfaction and project success.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Prior Program/Project Management experience.
  • Prior experience utilizing MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government issued security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating content such as presentations and briefs for higher level management.
  • Experience with CVENT or similar software.
  • Comprehension of reporting and organization of details.
  • Comprehension of Government policies and regulations relative to meetings and events (i.e., FAR).
  • Comprehension of project management principles with the ability to multitask.
  • Experience with schedules, cost control systems, and work breakdown structures.
  • Experience with risk and opportunity management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the operational aspects and logistics support for conferences, trade shows, and similar meetings.
  • Serve as liaison between the Raytheon Program Manager and USG Program Manager.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals.
  • Develop solutions to assist Program Manager with problem solving.
  • Review and analyze program financials and provide recommendations to senior program managers on forecasting and manpower planning.
  • Take ownership and drive resolution of problems in a safe and practical manner.
  • Work under pressure to meet project deadlines and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Work independently with little to no supervision to accomplish goals.
  • Communicate with both internal and external customers.
  • Travel to support off-site meetings and events as required.
