About The Position
Triangle Grading and Paving, Inc. (TGP) is seeking a dedicated Project Superintendent to join our team in Burlington, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing field operations at various job sites, primarily focusing on civil sitework projects for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), as well as public and private clients. The work will predominantly take place within the Triad and Triangle areas, with most job sites located within a 90-mile radius of our headquarters. As a Project Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with the specified plans and regulations. Your responsibilities will include managing the entire life cycle of one or multiple projects, directing the daily operations of TGP employees and subcontractors, and ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. You will be tasked with developing and maintaining strong relationships with TGP crews, subcontractors, and owners/general contractors, which is essential for the smooth operation of projects. Additionally, you will attend both internal and external meetings to discuss project progress and address any issues that may arise. Safety is a top priority at TGP, and you will be expected to encourage and enforce safety protocols on job sites, adhering to both company policies and OSHA standards. Collaboration with the Project Manager and/or Project Engineer will be vital, as you will need to submit Requests for Information (RFIs), review plan discrepancies, and discuss scheduling challenges. Your ability to read, interpret, and apply plans and specifications will be critical in ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards.
