Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in construction management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA 30 required.
  • Physical requirements: must be able to traverse long distances, traverse uneven, unfinished ground surfaces, ascend/descend stairs and ladders, work on upper floor levels, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. required.
  • This position is classified as a safety-sensitive role in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
  • Candidates selected for this position will be subject to a comprehensive background check that includes mandatory drug testing.

Responsibilities

  • Working with preconstruction and marketing teams, play a key role in the preparation of project proposals, evaluating bid tabs, conducting QA/QC constructability reviews, and developing preliminary project schedules.
  • Complete understanding of individual subcontract agreements.
  • Review daily reports for accuracy.
  • Manage site SWPPP.
  • Review monthly owner billing.
  • Track and maintain subcontractor insurance certificates.
  • Responsible for management of General Conditions .
  • Prepare for OAC meetings
  • Conduct weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
  • Facilitate weekly CMC project team meetings.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Manage day-to-day activities to meet project milestones and ultimately meet or beat project completion date.
  • Monitor and report on project progress.
  • Ensure work conforms with drawings and specifications and project team adheres to prime contract requirements.
  • Participate in project kick-off meeting.
  • Advocate for quality and adherence to the company’s QA/QC Program.
  • Participate in the development of site-specific safety plans.
  • Champion a culture of safety throughout the project by driving compliance of our Safety Program.
  • Conduct site safety audits and weekly safety meetings.
