The Project Superintendent is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures that projects are completed safely, on time, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and specifications. The Project Superintendent will work in a partnership role with the Crew Superintendents as the primary onsite leaders, coordinating field operations, coordinating with stakeholders, and overseeing all administrative and operational aspects of the project. Supervisory Responsibilities: o Coordinate with Project Manager on schedule, production, budget tracking and weekly work activities. o Supervise onsite crews working in multiple areas simultaneously. o Coordinate and schedule work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers. o Enforce safety procedures and site rules, conduct safety and quality control meetings and inspections. o Address safety violations and operational deficiencies promptly. Duties/Responsibilities: o Work with Project Manager to develop and maintain detailed work schedules, including three-week lookahead plans. o Work with Project Manager to monitor project budgets, provide updates on daily production and report variances in real time. o Monitor and Track production goals daily and provide updates to the Project Manager. Identify when production goals aren’t being achieved and work with QAQC Team and Crew Superintendent to overcome issues that allow for production goals to be met in alignment with the approved contract schedule. o Track daily tasks, site conditions, and identify current issues, delays and document these items in daily reports and emails. o Thoroughly prepare and submit Daily Reports, including the tracking of timecards and requests for time off, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Toolbox Safety Meeting Checklists, and other required documentation. o Coordinate procurement and timely delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment. o Receive and unload, as needed, delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment. Once unloaded confirm quantities and other specifications of received materials and equipment. o Ensure compliance with contract documents, including drawings, specifications, submittals, and regulations. o Daily coordination with Project Manager to ensure open and transparent collaboration and communication. o Proactively identify and communicate internally (PM) and externally (GC/Client/Owner/Etc.) any on-site conditions that may impede progress of the work or could be a deviation from our contractual scope of work. Including delays associated with unforeseen conditions, weather or lack of coordination by others. o Attend all required project specific meeting as required and be knowledgeable about on-site conditions, schedule and coordination efforts to update clients during these meetings. o Attend weekly scheduled Project Superintendent teams meeting with QC. o Provide regular progress updates to internal teams, general contractors, and clients. o Attend weekly scheduled Project Superintendent teams meeting with QC o Collaborate with project managers, clients, architects, engineers, government officials, and subcontractors to determine project needs and resolve issues. o Serve as the primary point of contact for field-related inquiries and decisions. o Other related duties as assigned.
