Position Summary: Supervise the planning, installation, and completion of electrical systems in new or existing construction, ensuring that thee National Electrical Code and all other applicable standards and specifications are followed. Supervise electricians, interpret blueprints, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate with other trades, ensure compliance with codes, and troubleshoot problems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Overseeing and managing all aspects of electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to industry standards. Demonstrate safe work habits, comply with company safety requirements Measures, cuts and bends conduit, using a tape measure and hand tools Pulls electrical wire and cable in conduit using manual and power equipment Moves/handles various equipment and spools of wire Installs electrical raceways and wire, conduit, lighting fixtures, controls, machinery and electrical distribution equipment under the supervision of an experienced Journeyworker electrician Installs and bends conduit using manual, mechanical and hydraulic benders Proper care for material, tools and equipment. Assist electricians by performing various tasks. Operates power tools such as drills, saws, pullers, tuggers, etc Requires knowledge of process, procedures, and methods Requires the use of common courtesy in everyday contacts with employees, clients, and the general public Night/weekend work as required Work as required in varying weather climates The ability to travel out of town and stay overnight as required The ability to coordinate own lodging All travel expenses are responsibility of the employee
