About The Position

Project Superintendent – Key Responsibilities: The SUPT supervises Project Supervisors and all casual labor and technicians. The SUPT evaluates all labor, equipment, and materials requirements and report these needs to the Project Manager. The SUPT informs all Project Supervisors of the scope of the job along with the completion schedules and supervise the implementation of such. The SUPT informs all Project Supervisors of any changes in the scope of work and any adjustments to the completion schedule. The SUPT places the order for all equipment and supplies. The SUPT contacts and arranges services from subcontractors and outside vendors. The SUPT ensures that all training meetings have been conducted along with the daily safety meeting. The SUPT outlines daily work activities with the Project Supervisors. The SUPT guarantees that every phase of the project is done properly and is completed as per the schedule. The SUPT ensures that all equipment and materials are organized daily. The SUPT verifies equipment operation and decontamination. The SUPT assists the Project Supervisors in completing the scope of work to ensure the project remains on schedule. Requirements

  • Minimum Educational Requirements: High School Graduate
  • Minimum Industry Certification: IICRC Water Restoration Technician and IICRC Certified Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician. IICRC Applied Structural Drying Technician, IICRC Mold Remediation Technician and IICRC Commercial Drying Specialist - Or - Minimum Industry Certification: Certified Restoration Technician and Water Loss Specialist, and Mold Remediation Technician, Council Certified Structural Drying Remediator/Supervisor (CSDR/ CSDS), certification from a recognized certifying body or association specializing in the Restoration Arts

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Educational Requirements: 4 Years Technical School. 2 Years project management experience in the service/ remediation industry, with experience in the insurance or construction related industry.
  • Preferred Industry Certification: IICRC Journeyman Restoration Technician, Council Certified Structural Drying Remediator/Supervisor (CSDR/ CSDS) - Or - Preferred Industry Certification: Certified Restorer (CR), Water Loss Specialist (WLS), Water Loss Technician, Council Certified Structural Drying Remediator/Supervisor (CSDR/ CSDS), certification from a recognized certifying body or association specializing in the Restoration Arts - Or – Verifiable equivalent industry training and experience through career longevity.

Responsibilities

  • Informs all Project Supervisors of any changes in the scope of work and any adjustments to the completion schedule.
  • Places the order for all equipment and supplies.
  • Contacts and arranges services from subcontractors and outside vendors.
  • Ensures that all training meetings have been conducted along with the daily safety meeting.
  • Outlines daily work activities with the Project Supervisors.
  • Guarantees that every phase of the project is done properly and is completed as per the schedule.
  • Ensures that all equipment and materials are organized daily.
  • Verifies equipment operation and decontamination.
  • Assists the Project Supervisors in completing the scope of work to ensure the project remains on schedule.
