Job Overview We are seeking a Superintendent with proven experience in wastewater treatment plant upgrades, heavy industrial piping, or complex process-driven mechanical systems. This role leads field operations, drives safety and quality, coordinates subcontractors, and ensures project milestones are met. You may work alongside a Senior Superintendent or Project Executive depending on project size.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Superintendent experience on heavy civil, wastewater treatment, industrial piping, or mechanical-process projects
  • Strong knowledge of process piping, plant operations, pumps, valves, controls, and treatment systems
  • Ability to read plans, coordinate trades, and anticipate field challenges
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and team leadership
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with owners, inspectors, subs, and in-house teams

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30 preferred
  • treatment plant or industrial facility certifications a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day field operations to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance
  • Oversee installation of process piping, mechanical systems, structural components, tanks, and equipment
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, craft workers, and specialty trades
  • Plan and sequence work, maintain accurate daily reports, and drive schedule adherence
  • Support RFIs, submittals, testing/commissioning, and turnover documentation
  • Lead jobsite safety practices, hold daily huddles, and reinforce OSHA requirements
  • Collaborate across project management, engineering, and field teams to resolve issues quickly
