We’re looking for a forward-thinking Project Superintendent I to carry out that mission even further.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent trade experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in complicated commercial/industrial construction project management.
  • Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to prioritize commitments.
  • Self-motivated with willingness to travel or relocate to jobsite locations.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior team members.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and seek appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and enforce safety programs to ensure accident-free worksites.
  • Review project drawings to identify and address coordination issues within contract documents.
  • Oversee collaboration between subcontractors and the PEAK team to foster a productive work environment.
  • Manage the field portion of the project budget and make strategic financial decisions.
  • Develop and utilize detailed scheduling skills to track project progress.
  • Champion the continuous evolution of PEAK’s corporate safety, quality, and scheduling standards.
  • Implement corporate policies to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Perform weekly safety audits and support third-party safety consultant reviews.
  • Manage project quality control and oversee municipal inspections.
  • Develop and manage weekly lookahead schedules aligned with the master project schedule.
  • Lead safety training initiatives and orientations for new workers.
  • Build strong relationships with subcontractors, municipal inspectors, and third-party consultants.
