Project Superintendents are responsible for ensuring safe and efficient jobsite operations. This role’s primary responsibilities are focused on coordinating between project managers, subcontractors, and field operations to assist with meeting project specifications and deadlines within the asphalt team. Project Superintendents must be able to read and interpret blueprints to coordinate with crews and plan for resources such as equipment or materials. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, as they are expected to manage multiple projects. Additionally, they must possess strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and mechanical skills while working in a team environment. Strong customer service skills are also required, as superintendents must respond to inquiries from both internal and external team members in a timely manner. Candidates must have an acceptable driving record, as traveling to multiple locations is required. Safety is a top priority at MCC, Inc. Superintendents are expected to work safely on all job sites, around all types of moving equipment and traffic, and in various weather conditions. Additionally, all employees are expected to maintain compliance with all workplace rules and regulations according to company policy, and all governing agencies.
