The Project Strategy Manager at Siemens Industry, Inc. is responsible for analyzing, defining, monitoring, and publishing capacity by plant and product. This role involves reviewing plant loading and monitoring capacity impacts for strategic opportunities. The manager will define case scenarios based on plausible outcomes for a mix of opportunities or loss of existing ones, and will communicate lead times for apparatus products assigned to them. They will also establish capacity utilization strategies and maintain an understanding of process flows and plant minimums for key processes. Additionally, the manager will assist with financial planning for capacity changes and will be responsible for rolling up financial data based on current schedules and defined utilizations. The role includes defining process flows for shadowloading opportunities and maintaining a forward view plan for revenue and capacity balancing over a 3-5 year period.

  • Analyze, define, monitor, and publish capacity by plant by product.
  • Review plant loading and monitor capacity impacts for strategic opportunities.
  • Define case scenarios based on plausible outcomes for opportunities or losses.
  • Communicate lead times for apparatus products assigned to the PSM.
  • Establish capacity utilization strategies.
  • Maintain process flow understanding and plant minimums for key processes.
  • Assist with financial planning for capacity increases or decreases.
  • Roll up ABP and P2 dollars based on current schedules and defined utilizations.
  • Define process flow for shadowloading opportunities and monitor milestone achievements.
  • Calculate roll up of OI and revenue based on plant schedules and shadowload milestones.
  • Publish effects and risks of capacity over/under utilization.
  • Maintain a forward view plan for revenue and capacity balancing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management, Business, or a related field.
  • One year of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation.
  • Understanding of basic systems: snowflake, tableau, excel, knime.
  • Experience applying AI to datasets to yield conclusive data patterns.
  • Consensus builder experience, able to navigate conflict.
  • Base level of production planning and financial concepts.
  • Ability to view data independent of source files and envision management.
  • Ability to find, define, use, and forecast dollars and capacity based on multiple stakeholder input.
  • Ability to present and navigate executive level interactions.
