The Project Specialist will receive from Regional Director any newly designated special projects and/or special programs as funded. The Project Specialist is responsible for collaboration with funders, stakeholders, and customers to understand the vision and objectives of each special project and deliver on the needed services. The project specialist will utilize project management tools and data tracking to capture customer engagement, efforts, and outcomes specific to each project. · Establish a positive, high-performing culture by demonstrating EDSI’s core values · Work directly with the local Delaware and Chester County EDSI teams and funder in the implementation and planning of special projects · Liaise with funder, employer, and other partner stakeholders to define project requirements, scope and objectives, and review ongoing outcomes · Work directly with the WIOA Title I Youth, Adult and Dislocated worker, and ReEntry Programs in both Delaware and Chester County. · Assist participants with career readiness preparation, including resume writing, mock interviews, and professional development workshops. · Serve as ISO file auditor and document proofer to maintain EDSI quality standards. · Support WIOA performance monitoring through secondary file reviews and CWDS data management. · Conduct bi-weekly case file reviews on participant files to ensure timeliness and accuracy of participant records · Review CWDS records to ensure accuracy of participant records · Support local youth teams with achieving performance metrics such as Measurable Skills Gains and Credentials · Provide oversight to Youth Work Experience and utillize best practices from EDSI youth programs · Provide on-site support to the regional programs in order to ensure that case files, including both physical and electronic, are tracked and audited · Maintain a positive partnership with funders by attending meetings, engaging in proactive communication, discussing best practices, presenting program innovations · Schedule one-to-one meetings with leadership to ensure that program goals are met or exceeded · Communicate regional best practices that will support regional teams and programs · Collaborate with the Regional Director to assign additional staff to project if applicable · Provide functional supervision to staff assigned to special projects · Serve as a back-up and support to each EDSI staff member assigned to the project · Monitor project progress and proactively address any changes in project plan · Responsible for data tracking of every service provided and utilization of the state system of record · Responsible to summarize all special project data into cumulative reporting on total impact, as well as offer reports and summaries by each project · Demonstrate fluid approach to work and actively be part of continuous improvement and training · Travel is required (up to 50%) · Assist Regional Director with special projects that arise from funder requests · Other opportunities as available
