About The Position

As the Thermal Controls Project Analyst at Vertiv, you will lead and oversee projects focused on the development, integration, and optimization of advanced thermal management systems. These systems are crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency and reliability of critical infrastructure, including data centers. Your role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to execute the roadmap through New Product Development Stage Gate process and ensuring that project objectives are met with a high degree of quality. The Project Analyst is responsible for supporting Thermal controls projects to achieve organizational goals and objectives. This role involves supporting ongoing projects and programs, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that projects and tasks are completed efficiently and within deadlines. This position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Westerville, OH location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, with a focus on thermal management systems or related technologies.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project), excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of thermal control systems.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is desirable but not necessary.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, Controls systems, cooling technologies, and energy efficiency strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for thermal control solutions, from initial concept through to final implementation and post-deployment support.
  • Provide technical direction on thermal control systems, including HVAC, cooling systems, and energy-efficient solutions, ensuring that designs meet both performance and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration of thermal controls with Vertiv's broader product offerings.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to align project goals and expectations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure that project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Ensure that all thermal control solutions meet Vertiv's high standards for quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Lead initiatives to improve project management processes, enhance team collaboration, and drive innovation in thermal control technologies.
