About The Position

Project Specialist, Online Sexual Exploitation of Children (OSEC) Program Who We Are International Justice Mission (IJM) is a global movement working to protect people in poverty from everyday violence—human trafficking, slavery, sexual violence, police abuse, and other brutalities that destroy lives and communities. IJM partners with local authorities in 30+ countries to rescue victims, hold perpetrators accountable, restore survivors, and strengthen justice systems so they protect the vulnerable long after IJM leaves. The Need For over 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. 9 out of 9 times in the last decade, IJM’s Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% for very large populations of people in poverty. This role’s key routines include managing project tasks, timelines, and deliverables under the demand-side components of the IJM Philippines Program, namely, to secure passage of government legislation and regulation that requires tech companies to disrupt and prevent child sexual abuse online. This includes coordination and sequencing of efforts across multiple IJM teams; managing external publications (i.e. reports, white papers) across relevant teams; providing critical support to the annual U.S. Advocacy Summit in support of Stop CSAM Act or related OSEC advocacy; support project coordination, internal communication, and timelines across International Advancement Offices (IAOs) as they engage in OSEC advocacy; internal and external meeting management through agenda development, circulation, notes and follow-up; and coordinating engagement with external experts and advisors, including the External Advisory Council, members of IJM’s Board of Directors, and others.
