About The Position

The Project Specialist serves to develop and implement Industrial Hygiene initiatives on a company-wide basis, while also providing support and counsel as a subject matter expert in assigned safety and health-related subject matter areas. These initiatives include designing and performing exposure assessments, performing industrial hygiene activities to evaluate possible workplace hazards, advising operating groups on appropriate actions to protect their employees, as well as providing support and counsel in assigned safety and health-related subject matter areas. This individual applies strong leadership, interpersonal, and technical skills along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities to achieve required results. This individual will also use their skills to contribute to a positive, team-spirited safe work culture.

Responsibilities

Designing and performing exposure assessments
Performing industrial hygiene activities to evaluate possible workplace hazards
Advising operating groups on appropriate actions to protect their employees
Providing support and counsel in assigned safety and health-related subject matter areas
