About The Position

The Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy of USC is seeking a six-month fixed term Project Specialist-Administrative who will support the day-to-day operations of our Doctor of Physical Therapy program providing administrative support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Organize and communicate full-time clinical faculty teaching assignments. Develop, administer and report to leadership on mid-semester student course evaluations. Manage Associate Chair for DPT Education calendar, internal and external communications, and meetings. Assists with planning and coordination of Division events and meetings including Master’s Research Night, Dentistry Day, and Commencement. Provides administrative support and special project assistance to the Division’s faculty and other staff. Managing the academic internships in the MS program, including site visits, orientations, and midterm evaluations. Supporting MS students through the entire academic lifecycle, including course advisement, intervention and remediation coordination. Provides a broad range of administrative and general office duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum of two years’ experience
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in the face of changing priorities and fluctuating workloads
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Directly related project or administrative experience.
