The Project Services Manager for Calibration and Instrumentation at PCI is responsible for independently implementing customized client solutions through effective team collaboration. This role involves managing onsite service delivery contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing high-level technical expertise. The Project Manager will also mentor new hires and communicate effectively with management and clients to uphold PCI values and deliver exceptional service.

  • Independently manage PCI client project teams and provide high-level technical expertise within projects.
  • Proactively assess project safety concerns and ensure compliance with client and PCI site safety requirements.
  • Provide resource planning and account management, defining project objectives and requirements.
  • Plan, schedule, control project activities, and engage in frequent communication to fulfill client objectives.
  • Develop and drive integrated project plans, aligning project tactics with strategy.
  • Establish, maintain, and lead high-performance project teams, serving as the project advocate within the client organization.
  • Lead risk management initiatives and ensure appropriate mitigation and contingency plans are in place.
  • Act as the Account Manager for specific clients, building relationships and communicating relevant opportunities and risks to PCI management.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
  • Meet with client contacts regularly to deliver support, solicit feedback, and keep clients informed of PCI's service offerings.
  • Participate in professional organizations to enhance PCI's industry recognition.
  • Develop and deliver client service plans and technical service proposals.
  • Setup and manage new projects, including service delivery, resource schedules, change control, and budget forecasts.
  • Develop and update client and PCI policies and procedures, providing training and guidance to associates.
  • Ensure timely logging of timesheets and expenses, and maintain an updated company schedule.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related technical field or equivalent military/industry training.
  • Five years of instrumentation experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expert knowledge of instrument, equipment, and loop calibrations in manufacturing, utilities, and laboratory environments.
  • Exceptional skills in Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and strategic focus.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with clients and coworkers.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Project management experience and/or certification preferred.
  • External certification (e.g., ISA, ASQ) preferred.
