KenCrest is seeking a Project SEARCH Skills Trainer to support our Employment Program’s Project SEARCH internship rotations at Phoenixville Hospital. Project SEARCH is a one-year internship program that helps individuals with disabilities gain real-world work experience and transition into competitive employment. In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of making a meaningful difference every day. You’ll coach and mentor interns, celebrate their growth, and guide them as they gain confidence and real-world skills in a professional environment. Working closely with instructors, hospital mentors, and your teammates, you’ll help shape each intern’s journey toward meaningful employment and independence. Our Employment Department is dedicated to guiding individuals every step of the way as they navigate finding and maintaining meaningful employment. If you’re passionate about empowering others, collaborating with a dynamic team, and making a lasting impact, this is the role for you. The Project SEARCH Skills Trainer role aligns with the standard school-year schedule, September through June. During July into mid-August, the position pauses for the summer. Project SEARCH Skills Trainer may choose to support other areas of our Employment Program or continue working as a Direct Support Professional, offering flexibility and additional experience.
