Project Scheduler

The Project Scheduler will create, develop, and maintain detailed resource-loaded schedules, considering industry-known best practices of schedule management, performance work statements (PWSs), technical proposals, work breakdown structures, and directions from project managers and technical leads. The role requires utilizing Primavera P6 Scheduling Software for both basic and advanced scheduling functions. The Project Scheduler will perform Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis and tracking/tracing for project cost analysis, project performance, and risk management purposes according to recognized standards in EVM and utilizing EVMS tools. Additionally, the position involves creating, developing, and maintaining schedule baselines and establishing connections and tie-ins between individual project elements and broader enterprise-wide development schedules. The Project Scheduler will work with all technical engineering and non-technical stakeholders to collect progress and performance updates and keep the schedules up to date. Responsibilities also include performing schedule analysis, including critical path and float analysis, near-critical path activities' assessment, 'what-if' scenarios/analysis, schedule variances, etc., and creating related reports as directed and requested. The role requires performing schedule health-checks/audits considering industry-known best practices/policies and/or the internally developed/adopted evaluation criteria/scorecard. Understanding of schedule impacts for DOE/DOD/nuclear fleet industry elements would be a plus. The Project Scheduler will also support detailed technical report and proposal-related efforts including, but not limited to, WBS and schedule development and cost and resource analysis/projections. Conducting Schedule Management trainings and providing feedback and guidance to more junior team members are also part of the role, with potential to evolve into a management position.
