About The Position

GCON is seeking a Project Scheduler to join our innovative, people-focused construction team! If youre an experienced scheduler with hands-on field knowledge and a passion for leveraging technology to optimize project delivery, this role is for you. As our Project Scheduler, youll be a champion for best practices in technology, helping our teams adopt scheduling tools, digital workflows, and best practices that drive efficiency and collaboration across projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of scheduling experience.
  • Expertise in Primavera P6.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, means, and methods.
  • Confident in teaching, mentoring, and presenting schedule concepts to project teams.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable, with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

Nice To Haves

  • Field experience in construction and/or working with a general contractor/construction manager is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules in Primavera P6, including baselines, look-aheads, and recovery schedules.
  • Identify and track critical paths, key milestones, and logic-based sequencing to keep projects on target.
  • Partner with project managers, superintendents, and trade partners to ensure schedules reflect field realities.
  • Lead scheduling meetings and workshops to align teams and drive accountability.
  • Analyze impacts from delays, scope changes, or modifications and recommend recovery strategies.
  • Serve as a technology resource, training and mentoring staff on scheduling tools and workflows.
  • Produce clear schedule reports, dashboards, and visuals for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support preconstruction efforts by creating preliminary schedules for bids and proposals.
  • Stay ahead of emerging construction technology and identify opportunities to optimize workflows.
