About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Project Scheduler to create, update, and manage comprehensive project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. The role involves close collaboration with project teams, including Superintendents, Foremen, Project Managers, Subcontractors, and vendors, to ensure timely completion of work and achievement of project milestones.

Requirements

  • Experience in construction management, electrical construction, and commercial construction.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a construction company or a degree in Construction Management.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 with at least 1 year of experience, or alternatively, 1 year of experience using MS Project to manage construction schedules.
  • Strong skills in MS Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to manage large project calendars and handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with projects sized at $40-50M or handling multiple projects.
  • Understanding of electrical blueprints, planning, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain overall project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of work and achievement of project milestones.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and communicate and document changes clearly.
  • Coordinate schedule changes due to scope modifications or unforeseen events, updating timelines and communicating changes to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Track and report delays, documenting and communicating their impact on project deadlines, and provide regular progress reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure the project schedule stays updated based on the General Contractor's schedule and actual on-site conditions.
  • Identify and communicate risks related to the schedule to the Project Team to mitigate through proactive planning and communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project schedules, Capacity Overview, change management, and timely team notifications.
